Research opportunity for the logistics sector (with a focus on retail and food supply chains)
As part of our work to explore the dependence of global supply chains on critical infrastructure resilience, we are holding industry workshops to help us understand the challenges and opportunities for change.
The Resilience Shift has partnered with the team at Arup Logistics who initially conducted research into the UK supply chain landscape during 2018. This report, jointly authored with Jonathan Han (University of Manchester) will be published shortly.
The Resilience Shift aims to build on this research by investigating these inter-dependencies at a global scale and in particular exploring the relationship between the resilience of the critical infrastructure, and the dependency on it of our global supply chains.
We are seeking input and further collaboration from those working in the logistics sector or whose businesses are dependent on global supply chains. We are particularly interested in the views of retail and food logistics providers and customers, freight forwarders and transport operators, as well as supporting organisations/associations and specialist research institutions in this sector.
